The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), through its Industrial Research and Development (IRD) Unit, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016, has invited applications from Indian nationals for 02 posts of Project Scientist on a contractual basis under the project titled Generative AI-Enhanced Chatbot for Customer Support in Disaster Early Warning and Emergency Communication (RP05119G), funded by the Centre for Development of Telematics (C-DOT), New Delhi. The appointment shall carry a consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential: B.Tech. / M.Sc. / MCA / PG in a relevant discipline with first class or equivalent.
- Desirable: Proficiency in Python, R or similar programming languages; familiarity with large language models (LLMs), generative AI models and AI-based chatbots; understanding of data collection, cleaning and model evaluation pipelines; exposure to NLP frameworks and AI model fine-tuning.
- 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC / ST candidates.
- In case of selection of a retired or superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.

- IIT Delhi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for shortlisting of eligible candidates from those satisfying the advertised qualification and requirement of the project post.

- Only shortlisted candidates will be informed for the online interview.
