The Indian Institute of Technology Delhi (IIT Delhi), through its Industrial Research and Development (IRD) Unit, Hauz Khas, New Delhi - 110016, invites applications from Indian nationals for 02 posts of Jr Research Fellow on a contractual basis under the project titled Next Generation Wireless Research and Standardization on 6G (RM00096G), funded by the Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology under the R and D programme in Convergence, Communication and Broadband Technologies Group. Appointment shall be on contractual basis with consolidated pay, renewable yearly or up to the duration of the project, whichever is earlier.

Eligibility Criteria
- Essential: Post graduate in Basic Science with NET, or graduate professional degree with NET, or post graduate professional degree.
- Desirable: Exposure to embedded systems and wireless communication.
- Relaxation: Candidates from CFTI institutions with CGPA greater than 8.00 or aggregate of 80 percent may be considered with relaxation in NET/GATE related norms as per advertisement.
- 5% relaxation of marks may be granted to SC / ST candidates.
- In case of selection of a retired or superannuated government employee, salary will be fixed as per prevailing IRD norms.

- IIT Delhi reserves the right to fix higher criteria for shortlisting of eligible candidates from those satisfying the advertised qualification and requirement of the project post.
