Project Details
Project Title: Droplet Impact and Evaporation Dynamics on Different Wettability Substrates: Energy Harvesting and Crystallization Effects
Principal Investigator: Dr. Nagesh Devidas Patil, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bhilai
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must fulfil either of the following requirements:
Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent discipline with first class or at least 60% marks; 55% for SC/ST candidates.
OR
B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent discipline with first class or at least 60% marks; 55% for SC/ST candidates, along with a valid GATE qualification.
Experience Required
Applicants must have at least two years of research experience.
Desirable Experience
Prior research experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:
Droplet impact experiments
Evaporation dynamics
Hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces
Closely related research areas
Age Limit
The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation will be applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and women candidates according to institute norms.
