Project Details

Project Title: Droplet Impact and Evaporation Dynamics on Different Wettability Substrates: Energy Harvesting and Crystallization Effects

Principal Investigator: Dr. Nagesh Devidas Patil, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, IIT Bhilai

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must fulfil either of the following requirements:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent discipline with first class or at least 60% marks; 55% for SC/ST candidates.

OR

• B.E./B.Tech. in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or an equivalent discipline with first class or at least 60% marks; 55% for SC/ST candidates, along with a valid GATE qualification.

Experience Required

Applicants must have at least two years of research experience.

Desirable Experience

Prior research experience in any of the following areas will be preferred:

• Droplet impact experiments

• Evaporation dynamics

• Hydrophilic and hydrophobic surfaces

• Closely related research areas

Age Limit

The upper age limit is 35 years. Age relaxation will be applicable to SC, ST, OBC, PwD and women candidates according to institute norms.
