IISER Bhopal, a Regional Centre of the Vigyan Pratibha Project of HBCSE-TIFR Mumbai, invites applications for one (01) post of Project Scientific Assistant-B (PSA-B) purely on temporary basis, to work full time in the project (advertisement dated 14.10.2026).
- Essential qualification: full-time M.Sc./M.S. degree in Science (preferably Chemistry or Mathematics) from a recognised University/Institute with a minimum of 60% marks or equivalent CGPA
- Desirable: experience in teaching/research/scientific writing/development of educational activities; basic knowledge of MS-Office, LibreOffice and data analysis software; good proficiency in English and writing skills in English and/or a regional language; ability to engage with the learning needs of Indian students and with rigorous scientific and mathematical content
- Job description: develop challenging learning units for science and mathematics and field-test them in different schools; work with in-service teachers on a regular basis; interact with teachers and students in urban, rural and tribal schools; work with teachers online and through school visits across Madhya Pradesh and neighbouring states; contribute to project reports; assist in organising teachers' training workshops at IISER Bhopal
