Eligibility
- Doctoral degree (Ph.D.) in Life Sciences OR Computational Sciences OR Bioinformatics OR Bioinstrumentation from a recognized university, with minimum 60% aggregate marks (relaxation as per GoI guidelines).
- At least 5 years of research & development experience during/after Ph.D. in microfabrication and scientific instrumentation in industrial/academic institutions or S&T organizations.
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in developing/running scientific instruments
- Familiarity with anaerobic culturing and bioreactors
- NGS data analysis for genome/metagenome, programming/script writing (Perl/Python/C), database construction, development of AI/ML tools
- Managerial skills - project management, report writing, coordination with other institutions

- Coordinate sample collection activities, maintain systematic data repository, manage experimental data
- Prepare reports and collaborate with other institutions
