Indian Institute of Science Education and Research (IISER) Tirupati, an autonomous Institution of National Importance under the Ministry of Education, Govt. of India, invites applications from Indian nationals for the position of Project Assistant under the Bioacoustics Workshop Project on a purely contract basis.

Essential Qualifications
- Graduate degree/B.Sc.
Desirable Qualifications
- At least 50% or equivalent grade in B.Sc. Degree
- Candidates with a valid 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler driving license and experience
- At least one year of fieldwork experience, preferably in ecological or wildlife research
- Experience in ecological research, including field data collection and monitoring
- Experience with recording bird songs and analysis
- Experience in analysis in Raven Pro is desirable
- Experience in the use and analysis of LiDAR data is desirable
Fellowship / Salary
INR 20,000 + 9% HRA
