IIPS Mumbai Project Officer-Office Walk-in 2026 - LASI Wave 2
International Institute for Population Sciences (IIPS), Mumbai invites applications for Project Officer - Office positions on a contract basis in the Longitudinal Ageing Study in India (LASI), Wave 2 project at IIPS, for a period of four months.
- Position: Project Officer-Office - 04 (four)
- Salary: Rs 40,000 per month (consolidated)
- Duration: 4 months, extendable by a few weeks if necessary
- Walk-in interview: 17 November 2026 at 11:30 AM
- Location: IIPS, Deonar, Mumbai - 400088
Project & Department
Roles and responsibilities:
- Analysis of Mental Health Assessment for LASI Wave-2.
- Stocking and inventory management of all relevant LASI Wave-2 documents, including transmittal sheet, consent form and MHAS.
- Undertaking any other responsibilities as assigned by the management.
Eligibility & Qualifications
Essential:
- Graduation in any science subject, any health sciences or Psychology, along with at least one year experience in a large scale survey or experience of working within the health sector.
- Demonstrated experience in public health, surveys or mental health research.
- Understanding of quantitative research methods and measurement in large scale demographic and health surveys with a biomarker component.
- Documentation of reports.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Desirable:
- Understanding of health data, including measurement of main indicators for health surveys.
- Master of Public Health.
- Experience in mental health assessment in field survey settings.
- Oral and written communication skills in Hindi and English.
Emoluments
Consolidated salary of Rs 40,000 per month. The appointment is initially for a period of four months and may be extended for a few weeks further, if necessary.
