IIM Kozhikode Faculty Recruitment 2026 - Advt No. A-02/2026

Indian Institute of Management Kozhikode (IIMK) invites applications from Indian nationals including Overseas Citizens of India for faculty positions on a regular basis (Assistant Professor Grade I and Grade II). Established by the Government of India in 1996, IIMK is an Institution of National Importance with its Main Campus at Kozhikode, Kerala and a Campus at Kochi, Kerala. Areas / Specializations

Minimum Qualification

• Ph.D. or equivalent degree in appropriate subjects with first class or equivalent (Overall 60 percent or above) at the preceding degree and with excellent academic record throughout.
• PhD qualification must be obtained from a recognized University/Deemed University or a duly approved autonomous institution ranked in FT Global Rankings / QS / THE / NIRF rankings.

Research and Publications Record

• Assistant Professor (Grade I): at least one journal publication in their area of specialization in a journal classified as A (or above) in ABDC ranking, or 3 (or above) in ABS ranking. Q1 as per Web of Science may be considered in lieu of ABDC/ABS for Corporate Law, Psychology, Mathematics, AI and Computer Science specializations.
• Assistant Professor (Grade II): significant contributor in at least one published journal in A (ABDC), 3 (ABS), or Q1/Q2 (Web of Science) ranking.

Experience

• Assistant Professor (Grade I): minimum 3 years of teaching or equivalent research/industrial experience post PhD.
• Assistant Professor (Grade II): fresh Ph.D. holders and those with less than three years of teaching or equivalent research/industrial experience may apply; they may be considered for appointment on contract basis in Pay Level 10 or 11, with regularization as per Institute rules.

2. Upload soft copies of educational qualifications and experience certificates, job market research paper and publications, and caste/category certificate (if applicable).
3. A candidate can apply under one area of specialization only.

Selection Process

• Only shortlisted candidates will be invited for Seminar and Interview at IIMK Kozhikode/Kochi Campus.
• Shortlisted candidates will be provided free travel (economy air travel within India) and boarding facilities.
• Certificate verification will be conducted at the time of seminar; failure to produce original documents leads to disqualification.
• Candidates who have attended an interview at IIMK within the past 12 months will not be considered for shortlisting again.
