Eligibility (Post-wise)
- Professor: Ph.D. with first class in the preceding degree and a very good academic record; minimum 10 years of teaching/research/industrial experience, of which at least 4 years as Associate Professor in IITs/IIMs/IISc/IISERs or equivalent institutions; strong research/training/consulting credentials; minimum 2 papers in Category-A journal (or 4 in B / 8 in C).
- Associate Professor: Ph.D. with first class in the preceding degree; minimum 6 years of experience, of which at least 3 years as Assistant Professor; minimum 1 paper in Category-A journal (or 2 in B / 4 in C).
- Assistant Professor Grade-I: Ph.D. with first class in the preceding degree; minimum 3 years of teaching/research/industrial experience (excluding Ph.D. period); at least 2 publications in Web of Science/Scopus/ABDC journal.
- Assistant Professor Grade-II (on Contract): Ph.D. with first class in the preceding degree; entry at Level-10, moving to Level-11 after one year of post-Ph.D. experience. Not part of the regular faculty cadre.
