Consolidated Salary

INR 35,000 - 45,000 per month (Negotiable based on qualifications, experience and skills).

Age Limit

• Maximum Age: 40 years
• Relaxation as per Government of India norms for reserved categories

Educational Qualification

Master degree in any of the following disciplines from a recognized/reputed university:

• MSc / M.Tech in Data Science, Engineering, Statistics, Operations Research, Mathematics
• MBA in Business Analytics, Operation Management, Financial Analytics

Preference will be given to candidates with Master from IITs/IIMs/NITs.

Experience Required

• Minimum 01 year of relevant work experience in a project assistant/associate/similar post with leading research role
• Experience in IIMs/IITs/TISS or government-funded research projects shall be highly preferred

Desirable Skills

• Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative data analysis (STATA/R/Python)
• Experience in primary data collection, survey administration, and field research
• Strong writing skills with the ability to prepare research reports and documentation
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi
• Willingness to travel extensively within NER division

Key Responsibilities

1. Data Collection & Field Research: Administer surveys, conduct field interviews, manage data entry and cleaning, coordinate with field investigators and government officials at district level
2. Data Analysis & Visualisation: Perform statistical analysis using appropriate software and methods, create publication-quality charts, graphs, and tables
3. Report Writing & Support: Assist in drafting research reports, policy briefs, and presentations, support Project Coordinator in stakeholder meetings
