The selected candidate will support empirical and applied research related to rural drinking water and sanitation, contributing to the objectives of the Har Ghar Jal Mission.

Purpose of the Role
The Technical Assistant will support research, data analysis, capacity-building activities, stakeholder coordination, and report preparation in the areas of rural drinking water and sanitation.
Key Responsibilities
Assist with research projects and capacity-building exercises
Support primary and secondary data collection
Use GIS, statistical tools, and Microsoft Excel for data analysis
Assist in preparing draft reports and training programmes
Coordinate with stakeholders and team members
Prepare periodic reports and presentations
Perform other duties assigned by the reporting authority
Essential Qualification
Applicants should hold a postgraduate degree in one of the following or a related field:
Resource Economics
Environmental Engineering
Water Economics
Drinking Water Systems Management
Required Skills
Candidates should demonstrate:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong data-analysis and data-collection knowledge
Familiarity with statistical tools and report preparation
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Research and coordination abilities
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail
Confidence, self-motivation, and professional maturity
