Mode of Engagement: Junior Research Fellow (JRF) on a project sponsored by ANRF (DST-SERB), under the supervision of Dr. Anjali, ABV-IIITM Gwalior. The candidate can be enrolled in the Ph.D. program as per institute norms.

Essential Qualifications: (1) Candidates must have M.Tech/M.S./M.E. or equivalent in EC (Electronics and Communication) / Electrical Engineering / CSE (Computer Science and Engineering) / IT (Information Technology) or equivalent; they must also have B.Tech/B.E./M.Sc. in EC/CSE/IT/EE or equivalent. (2) Candidates must have qualified GATE/NET in the relevant area for the JRF position. (3) In the absence of GATE/NET, Project Associate position may be considered, with monthly emoluments in accordance with DST-SERB norms.
Desirable Qualification: Basics of machine learning, deep learning, human activity recognition and edge computing.
Fellowship: As per DST norms (payment subject to receipt of funds from the sponsoring agency).
Duration: Maximum 02 years (as per notes, maximum three years, extendable up to five years). The candidate may be promoted to the position of SRF upon completion of 2 years as per project/institute norms. If the candidate performs unsatisfactorily, the position can be terminated with 1-month notice.
Interview: Only shortlisted candidates will be informed by e-mail about the interview date. No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview. The interview will be scheduled in offline mode at ABV-IIITM Gwalior.
Ph.D. Enrolment: Selected candidates can be enrolled in the Ph.D. program as per the institute norms.

ABOUT THE PROJECT: This project aims to develop an Edge-AI-enabled Digital Twin based multimodal smart health monitoring system for continuous, real-time detection of physiological and behavioural anomalies. By integrating wearable sensors, WiFi CSI, IMU, and ambient IoT data with lightweight edge intelligence, the system provides privacy-preserving, personalised health monitoring and early alerts. The project will deliver an optimized edge-deployable prototype capable of robust human activity recognition, anomaly detection, and Digital Twin driven health insights for smart-home and elderly healthcare applications.
