Essential Eligibility

M.Tech / MS by Research in VLSI Design / Embedded Systems / Signal Processing from an AICTE/UGC-recognized institution with minimum 65% marks. GATE qualified.

Desirable Qualifications

Essential: M.Tech VLSI/Embedded/Signal Processing with 65% marks and GATE qualification. Desirable: Experience in RTL design, FPGA prototyping (Xilinx/Intel), and VHDL/Verilog programming.

Key Responsibilities

• RTL design and verification of secure communication modules for defence applications.
• FPGA prototyping using Xilinx Vivado and Intel Quartus for real-time signal processing algorithms.
• Development and testing of embedded firmware for ARM Cortex-M based sensor nodes.
• Simulation of RF front-end circuits using ADS / HFSS for microwave communication systems.
• Preparation of technical documentation, test reports, and patent filings as per DRDO guidelines.
• Regular progress presentations to the DRDO project review committee and principal investigator.

Application and Selection Process

Candidates are required to attend the Walk-in-Interview on the date mentioned above. Candidates must bring the following documents in original along with self-attested photocopies:

• Updated Curriculum Vitae (CV) with complete educational qualifications and experience details.
• All original certificates and mark sheets from Class X onwards (10th, 12th, Graduation, Post-Graduation, Ph.D.).
• Experience certificates from previous employers, if applicable.
• Recent passport-size photographs (2 nos.).
• Identity proof (Aadhaar Card / PAN Card / Passport).
• Caste certificate (SC/ST/OBC) issued by the competent authority, if applicable.
• Persons with Disability (PwD) certificate, if applicable.

Terms and Conditions

1. The position is purely temporary and co-terminus with the duration of the sanctioned project. No claim for regular appointment shall be entertained.
2. The monthly emoluments are consolidated and no other allowances (DA, HRA, TA) are applicable unless specifically mentioned in the project sanction letter.
3. Candidates who have already completed the requisite qualification as on the date of the interview only are eligible to appear.
4. Canvassing in any form will lead to immediate disqualification of the candidature.
5. The institute reserves the right to increase or decrease the number of vacancies or cancel the notification without assigning any reason.
6. No TA/DA will be paid to candidates appearing for the Walk-in-Interview.
7. Selected candidates will be required to join within 15 days of the offer of appointment.
8. The institute reserves the right to screen and shortlist candidates based on academic record and experience before the interview.
9. Any legal disputes arising out of this notification shall be subject to the jurisdiction of courts at Kurnool, Andhra Pradesh.
10. The decision of the Selection Committee shall be final and binding on all candidates.
