IIITDM Kancheepuram Technician Recruitment 2026 – NLC India Project
The Indian Institute of Information Technology, Design and Manufacturing (IIITDM), Kancheepuram (Institute of National Importance under Ministry of Education, Govt. of India) invites applications for the post of Technician on a purely contractual basis under the NLC India Limited sponsored project "AI and Vision Integrated Autonomous Mobile Lignite Dust Collecting System for Cleaning Bunker Floors".

Eligibility
Essential (Any one):
- Diploma in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institution with 4 years relevant experience.
- B.E./B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering / Mechatronics / Electrical Engineering / Electronics & Communication Engineering from a recognized institution with 1 year relevant experience.
Minimum Marks: 70% or 7 CGPA
Technical Skills Required: 3D printing & scanning, Laser cutting/engraving, CAD/CAM/CNC, Circuit design & prototyping, Coding/physical computing/IoT, Design & Fabrication.
Desirable Qualifications
- Hands-on experience in robotics, automation systems, or embedded hardware.
- Familiarity with sensor integration, microcontrollers (Arduino, Raspberry Pi), and basic programming (Python, C/C++).
- Experience in mechanical fabrication, assembly, and maintenance of electromechanical systems.
- Knowledge of ROS/ROS 2, instrument interfacing, or CAD design tools (SolidWorks/AutoCAD).
Age Limit
