Indian Institute of Information Technology (IIIT) Kalyani, an Institute of National Importance (autonomous under MoE, Govt. of India & DIT&E, Govt. of West Bengal), invites applications for 02 (Two) Junior Research Fellow (JRF) positions under the TTDF (TCoE) sponsored project.

Essential Qualifications (any one)
- Master's degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with minimum CGPA 6.5 (10-point scale) or 60% marks; OR
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology in a relevant area with minimum CGPA 7.5 or 70% marks (with GATE/NET qualification); OR
- Master's degree in Science in a relevant area with minimum CGPA 6.5 or 60% marks.
Desirable: GATE/NET qualification; practical knowledge of one or more development languages (C/Python); good written & verbal communication skills; Computer programming, Digital VLSI (from algorithm to chip) design skills; knowledge of Coding theory and/or Cryptology will be an asset.
Job description: The selected candidate is expected to carry out research related to the project and help ensure timely and successful completion in consultation with the PI; write initial drafts of reports, programs, manuscripts and patents.
Ph.D. registration: Selected candidates are expected to register for the full-time Ph.D. programme at IIIT Kalyani as per Institute norms.
