**Tenure:** Deputation will initially be for a period of **two (2) years**, thereafter extendable based on administrative requirement upon approval of the competent authority. ICMR-NIREH, Bhopal reserves the right to terminate the deputation at any time before expiry of the prescribed or extended tenure, without assigning any reason.

**Eligibility Conditions for the post of Assistant**

(i) Officials from Central Government / State Government / Autonomous Bodies / PSUs;

(ii) Holding an analogous post on regular basis and possessing a minimum three years Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University / Institution and working knowledge of computer (MS Office / PowerPoint);

**OR**

Upper Division Clerk in Level-4 (Rs. 25,500-81,100) with 10 years regular service in the grade and possessing a minimum three years Bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognised University / Institution and working knowledge of computer (MS Office / PowerPoint).

(iii) **Not exceeding 56 years of age** as on the last date of receipt of application.

**Note:**

(i) Pay Level granted under ACP/MACP is personal to the officer and therefore shall not be considered for eligibility.

(ii) The departmental officers (ICMR employees) shall not be eligible for deputation and similarly the deputationist shall not be eligible for promotion.

(iii) The posts are meant for ICMR-NIREH, Bhopal. However, candidates selected for the above posts can be posted anywhere by the Competent Authority.

(iv) The number of vacancies indicated is liable to change depending upon the requirement and decision of the competent authority.

(v) The date for determining the age limit / eligibility in respect of Minimum Essential Educational & Other Qualification(s) shall be the last date of receipt of application.

**General Conditions**

1. Shortlisted candidates shall be called for Interview (Online / Offline) at ICMR-NIREH, Bhopal, for which the date and time shall be intimated later. No TA/DA or accommodation facility shall be provided.

2. The instructions regarding pay and other terms and conditions of deputation issued by DoPT, Government of India / ICMR from time to time shall be applicable.

3. In case of officers already on deputation, the applications shall be forwarded by the parent cadre / Department along with Cadre Clearance, Vigilance Clearance and Integrity Certificate.

4. Canvassing of any kind will be a disqualification.

5. In case any information furnished or declaration made by a candidate is found to be false, or if the candidate has wilfully suppressed any material information relevant to the appointment, the candidature / appointment shall be liable to be cancelled / terminated.

6. The candidate should not have been convicted by any Court of Law.

7. Mere fulfilment of eligibility conditions shall not confer any right to selection. The Competent Authority reserves the right to shortlist candidates and to cancel or withdraw the vacancy circular either partially or fully without assigning any reason.
