ICDS Kolhapur Anganwadi Helper (Madatnish) Recruitment 2026 – By Nomination

Women & Child Development Department, Government of Maharashtra has invited applications from eligible women candidates for filling vacant posts of Anganwadi Helper (अंगणवाडी मदतनीस) by nomination under the centrally sponsored Integrated Child Development Services (ICDS) Scheme (as per GR No. Abavi-2022/Pra.Kra.94/Ka-6 dtd. 02.02.2023 and dtd. 30.01.2025) in the Shirol & Ajara Nagarparishad area.

Vacancy Details

Residence: Candidate must be a resident of the Shirol / Ajara Nagar Parishad jurisdiction. Residential proof (ration card, voter ID, Aadhaar, Talathi residential certificate, domicile certificate) must be attached; Tahsildar residential certificate if any complaint/ambiguity. Post-joining residence in the jurisdiction is mandatory.

Age: 18 to 35 years as on 01/08/2026; up to 40 years for widow candidates.

Family Norms: Maximum 2 living children (including adopted).

Language: Marathi knowledge (read & write); must have passed at least one qualification with Marathi subject; if 50%+ children at the centre speak another language (Urdu/Hindi etc.), knowledge of that language is required.

Important Conditions

• Purely honorarium-based post; not entitled to transfer, pension, increments or other government benefits.
• No transfer provisions for Anganwadi staff.
• Widow/Orphan: widow candidate must attach husband's death certificate + self-declaration of no remarriage; orphan candidate must attach certificate from competent authority.
• Reservation category candidates (SC/ST/OBC/VJ/NT/DTNT/ECW/SEBC) must attach self-attested caste certificate.
• Experience of minimum 2 years as Anganwadi Sevika / Madatnish / Mini Anganwadi Sevika in the ICDS scheme is given weightage.
• Appointments made as per selection procedure; objections to preliminary merit list within 10 working days; appeals on final list to Divisional Deputy Commissioner, Women & Child Development, Pune within 30 days.
