- Essential: Postgraduate degree in Genetics / Plant Breeding / Genetics and Plant Breeding / Biotechnology / Molecular Biology and Biotechnology / allied disciplines of Life Sciences.
- Desirable: Experience in field/lab experimentations, molecular marker techniques, data analysis, documentation and compilation of reports.
- Age: maximum 35 years and minimum 18 years as on the date of interview. Relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST and women candidates as per Government/ICAR guidelines.
- Tenure: purely temporary and co-terminus with the project; initially one year, extendable by one more year based on performance.
