Senior Research Fellow (SRF) Number of Posts: 01 Project: Central Sector Scheme sponsored ICAR project on National Mission on High Yielding Seeds-Field DH Facility Project Code: 12-289P Essential Qualification Candidates should possess a Master’s degree in: Genetics Plant Breeding Genetics & Plant Breeding Seed Science & Technology Biotechnology Allied disciplines of Life Sciences Candidates should also meet one of the following experience requirements: 4/5 years of Bachelor’s degree , OR Postgraduate degree in Basic Sciences with 3 years’ Bachelor’s degree + 2 years’ Master’s degree , along with NET qualification and 2 years of research experience , as prescribed under ICAR guidelines. Desirable Experience Research experience in: Genetics Breeding Application of molecular markers Fellowship Years 1 & 2: INR 37,000 per month + HRA Year 3 onwards: INR 42,000 per month + HRA HRA will be provided as applicable under ICAR norms . Nature of Appointment Both positions are unreserved . Appointments are purely temporary . Positions are co-terminus with the respective projects .
