- Bachelor degree from recognized University
- Must be SERVING Junior Scale Stenographer / Steno-Typist / Judgment Writer in HP High Court, District Judiciary or Government–Semi-Government establishment with 5 years regular service (or regular + continuous ad-hoc) in feeder post
- English shorthand speed 100 words per minute and typing speed 40 words per minute
- Liable for posting anywhere in Himachal Pradesh including District Commissions
