The Department of Home Guards, Civil Defence & Fire Services, Himachal Pradesh invites applications on the prescribed format from desirous and eligible Orthopedically Handicapped (OH) persons of HP with 40% or above permanent benchmark disability for direct recruitment to 01 post of Junior Office Assistant (IT) as Job Trainee. Essential qualification
- 10+2 from a recognised Board / University, OR Matriculation with a one / two-year Diploma / Certificate from an ITI in IT / ITES sectors (DGET-notified), OR a three-year Diploma in Computer Engineering / Computer Science / IT from an AICTE-approved Polytechnic
- Computer typing speed of 30 words per minute in English or 25 words per minute in Hindi (exemptions for visually impaired and medically-certified non-typing differently-abled persons with departmental training through CRC Sundernagar / NIVH Dehradun / CTC Ludhiana)
- Desirable: knowledge of HP customs, manners and dialects
- Disability certificate (40%+) from the competent Medical Board; HP bonafide residence proof
Age
- Not less than 18 and not more than 45 years as on the last date, with up to 5 years relaxation per HP Government instructions

- Selection purely on submitted documents with category-wise weightage (qualification, disability extent, backward area, landless, non-employment, BPL, experience); screening in a 1:10 ratio; merit and evaluation dates intimated separately and posted on the department website
