The High Court of Kerala invites applications from qualified Indian citizens for appointment to the post of Clerical Assistant through Special Recruitment from Persons with Disabilities (Recruitment No. 20/2026). Eligible Disability Categories
- Autism Spectrum Disorder (Mild), Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness (40% to 70%), and
- Multiple disabilities involving combinations of: Blindness and Low Vision; Deaf and Hard of Hearing; Locomotor Disability (including Cerebral Palsy, Leprosy Cured, Dwarfism, Acid Attack Victims with minimum one functional arm and leg); Autism Spectrum Disorder (Mild), Specific Learning Disability, Mental Illness (40% to 70%).
Applications of candidates other than the above categories will be summarily rejected.

Age relaxation up to 15 years for Blind, Low Vision, Deaf and Hard of Hearing categories and 10 years for other disability categories (upper limit 50 years). Up to 5 years relaxation for widows (upper limit 50 years).
Qualifications
- Plus Two (12th pass) or equivalent.
- Minimum functional requirements: Sitting/Standing, Manipulation by Fingers, Reading & Writing, Communication.
Mode of Selection
Selection based on Written Test & Interview or Interview only, having regard to the number of candidates. Written test (if conducted): 75 minutes, Objective type on OMR sheet, 100 marks total (General Knowledge & Current Affairs – 60, Basic Mathematics – 20, General English – 20); 100 questions, 1 mark each, 1/4 negative marking. Interview: 10 marks, minimum 35% for ranked list.
