- Mining: Bachelor Degree in Mining Engineering with First Class Mine Manager Certificate of Competency (Unrestricted) under MMR (qualifying in nature; experience counted after BE)
- HR: Bachelor Degree (Arts/Commerce/Science/Engineering/BBA/BCA etc.) with MBA (Personnel Management) or PG Degree/Diploma in Personnel Management / Social Work (welfare-officer eligible); LLB preferred
- Finance: Passed Final Examination of ICAI (CA) or Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICWA)
- Materials & Contracts: Bachelor Degree with PG Degree/Diploma (or MBA) in Materials / Supply Chain / Logistics Management
