Eligibility Criteria
- Only female (women) candidates are eligible to apply for both Karyakatri and Sahayika posts.
- The applicant must be a resident of the same Ward/Gram Sabha where the vacancy exists. If no eligible candidate is available in that Gram Sabha, selection will be made from eligible candidates of the concerned Nyay Panchayat.
- Selection follows a defined priority order among women candidates of the same Gram Sabha/Ward: (1) widowed, legally divorced or abandoned woman from a BPL family; (2) if unavailable, any woman from a BPL family; (3) if unavailable, widowed/divorced/abandoned woman from an above-BPL family; (4) if unavailable, any woman from an above-BPL family; (5) if none found, the same priority order is applied at the Nyay Panchayat level.
