- Graduate Apprentice (Non-Engineering): BCA / B.Sc Computer Science, B.Com, B.A (3-year) or B.Sc Agriculture (4-year)
- Technician Apprentice (Diploma): 3-year Diploma in Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Computer Science/IT
- Technician Apprentice (Non-Engineering): GNM (3-year) or MOM & SP (2-year) diploma
- Age up to 26 years as on 13.11.2026 with Government of India relaxations
- Registration on nats.education.gov.in is mandatory and the registration number must be quoted in the Google application form
- Dependents of serving/retired/deceased HAL employees must obtain the prescribed certificate from the HR department
