Walk-in-interview for Assistant Professor on Contract Basis – Computer Science (1 post), fixed remuneration Rs.50,000/- per month, vide Advt. No.09/2026-27 dated 14-10-2026. Engagement purely temporary for 11 months or completion of semester, whichever is earlier; no other benefits.
Qualification (as per UGC Regulations 2018)
- Master’s degree with 55% in concerned/relevant/allied subject + NET (UGC/CSIR)/SLET/SET, or Ph.D. per UGC 2009/2016 Regulations (exempted from NET); OR
- BE/BTech + ME/MTech/MS (or integrated M.Tech), first class/equivalent at UG or PG in relevant discipline with one degree in relevant discipline; OR BE/BTech + MCA with first class in either; OR 3-yr graduation + MCA (first class) with 2 yrs relevant industry experience (experience waived for PhD holders / 3-yr MCA / 4-yr graduates as notified).
- 5% relaxation for SC/ST/OBC-NCL/Differently-abled; PhD holders (pre-Sept 1991 Masters) 55%→50%. Knowledge of Gujarati/Hindi essential (medium of instruction largely Gujarati).
