Educational Qualification
- A Diploma in Mechanical Engineering obtained from the Technical Examination Board, Gujarat, or from any university established or incorporated by or under a Central or State Act in India, or any other educational institution recognised as such or declared a deemed university under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or an equivalent qualification recognised by the Government.
- Diploma in Automobile is recognised as an equivalent qualification by the Ports and Transport Department letter dated 08/09/2026.
- Basic knowledge of computer application as prescribed in the Gujarat Civil Services Classification (General) Rules, 1967.
- Adequate knowledge of Gujarati or Hindi or both.
