Overview
Goa Shipyard Limited (GSL), a Schedule A Mini Ratna Category I Government of India Undertaking under the Ministry of Defence, invites online applications for Trainee Project Executives on Contract Basis across five engineering disciplines (Advt No. 05/2026). Contract is initially for 02 years, further extendable up to 01 year depending on requirements and performance.

Eligibility Criteria
Engineering Disciplines (Sr. 1-3, 5): Full-time Regular BE / BTech / BSc (Engineering) 4-year degree in the relevant discipline (Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics / Naval Architecture) from a recognized University or Institute. Lateral entry to 3rd Semester of 8-Semester course / 2nd year of 4-year course considered equivalent. Postgraduate integrated 5-year degree courses also accepted.
Finance (Sr. 4): Graduate AND qualified Chartered Accountant (ICAI) / Cost Accountant (ICMAI) OR 2-year Post Graduate Diploma / Post Graduate Degree in Finance.
Experience: Minimum 01 year relevant experience OR 01 year Graduate Apprenticeship training as on 31/07/2026. Apprenticeship in any industry counts as experience. Only post-qualification experience considered.

GSL Graduate Apprentices / GSL Advance Trainees (present or past) receive additional age relaxation equal to years of apprenticeship/training at GSL.
Selection Process
- Written Test (CBT or PBT): 25% General Aptitude + 75% Subject/Trade. Minimum qualifying marks: 40% (General/EWS), 35% (SC/ST/PwBD/OBC).
- Document Verification: Category-wise shortlisting at 1:5 ratio based on written test performance.
- Group Discussion / Interview: Minimum 40% (General/EWS), 35% (SC/ST/PwBD/OBC).
- Final Grading: Written Test 85% weightage; Group Discussion/Interview 15% weightage (total 100).

₹500/- (Non-Refundable) payable online through SBI e-Pay (Debit Card / Credit Card / Net Banking).
Exempted: GSL Graduate Apprentices / GSL Advance Trainees (present or past), SC/ST, PwBD, Ex-Servicemen.
