Govt. Polytechnic Diglipur Lecturer (Maths) Recruitment 2026 – 01 Post | Apply by 30 June 2026
The Andaman and Nicobar Administration (Department of Higher Education) invites applications from eligible candidates for the contractual appointment of Lecturer (Mathematics) at Govt. Polytechnic, Diglipur, North & Middle Andaman for a period of 11 months on a consolidated pay basis.

Eligibility Criteria (Lecturer – Maths)
Educational Qualification: Master's Degree in Mathematics from a recognized University/Institute with First Class or equivalent either at Bachelors or at Masters level.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 Years.
Salary & Tenure
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 85,000/- per month. The engagement is purely on contract basis for a period of 11 months.
Selection Process
The mode of selection for the post of Lecturer (Maths) is as under:
- Written Exam: 85 Marks
- Interview: 15 Marks
Candidates scoring 50% and above in the written exam shall only be called for interview. Selection Committee: Secretary (Edn.), Principal (DBRAIT) and Concerned Head of Department (DBRAIT/JNRM).
The written exam (100 questions) covers: Algebra (Logarithm, Determinant & Matrices, Partial Fractions), Trigonometry (Compound/Allied/Multiple/Sub-multiple angles, Factorization, Inverse Trigonometric Ratios), Coordinate Geometry (Straight line, various forms of straight lines, angle between two lines, perpendicular distance), Calculus (Functions, Limits, Differentiation, Integration, Methods of Integration, Application of Differentiation & Integration) and Statistics (Range, Mean Deviation, Standard Deviation, Variance, Coefficient of Variance).
