The Andaman and Nicobar Administration (Department of Higher Education) invites applications from eligible candidates for the contractual appointment of Lecturer (Computer Science & Engineering) at Govt. Polytechnic, Diglipur, North & Middle Andaman for a period of 11 months on a consolidated pay basis.

Eligibility Criteria (Lecturer – CSE)
Educational Qualification: B.E./B.Tech/BS in Computer Science and Engineering from a recognized University/Institute with First Class or equivalent.
Age Limit: Not exceeding 35 Years.
Salary & Tenure
Consolidated Pay: Rs. 85,000/- per month. The engagement is purely on contract basis for a period of 11 months.
Selection Process
The mode of selection for the post of Lecturer (CSE) is as under:
- Written Exam (Theory): 40 Marks
- Practical Exam: 45 Marks
- Interview: 15 Marks
Candidates scoring 50% and above in the written/practical exam shall only be called for interview. Selection Committee: Secretary (Edn.), Principal (DBRAIT) and Concerned Head of Department (DBRAIT).
The written exam (100 questions) covers: Fundamentals of Computer Programming, Programming in C, Data Structures, OOP through C++, Operating System, Computer Networks, RDBMS, Software Engineering, Computer Architecture & Maintenance and Computer Graphics. Practical exam covers Database Management (DDL/DML and queries), Computer Hardware & Networking (PC assembling, OS installation, cabling), Web Development (HTML forms, lists, tables, frames) and Data Structures using C.
