Eligibility Criteria (trade-wise)
- Dress Making: B.Voc / Degree in Fashion & Apparel Technology (UGC recognized) OR 2-yr Diploma in Dress Making / Garment Fabricating Technology / Costume Designing OR relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT OR NTC/NAC in Dress Making. Experience: 1 yr (Degree), 2 yrs (Diploma), 3 yrs (NTC/NAC).
- Fitter: B.Voc / Degree in Mechanical Engineering (AICTE/UGC) OR 3-yr Diploma in Mechanical Engineering OR NTC/NAC in Fitter trade. Experience: 1 yr (Degree), 2 yrs (Diploma), 3 yrs (NTC/NAC).
- Sewing Technology: B.Voc / Degree in Fashion & Apparel Technology OR 2-yr Diploma in Garment Fabrication / Costume Design & Dress Making OR relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT OR NTC/NAC in Sewing Technology (earlier Cutting & Sewing). Experience: 1 yr / 2 yrs / 3 yrs respectively.
- TWPT: B.Voc / Degree in Textile Technology / Textile Chemistry OR 3-yr Diploma in Textile Technology / Textile Processing OR relevant Advanced Diploma (Vocational) from DGT OR NTC/NAC in Textile Wet Processing Technician trade. Experience: 1 yr / 2 yrs / 3 yrs respectively.
Remuneration
- Theory: Rs. 200 per hour (max 16 hrs/month); Practical: Rs. 150 per hour (max 112 hrs/month).
- Record checking, internal exams, machine maintenance, co-curricular activities, projects, industry visits and counselling count as practical hours (ceiling Rs. 16,800/month).
- Maximum remuneration: Rs. 20,000 per month.
