Gujarat Metro Rail Corporation (GMRC) Limited, a 50:50 Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) jointly owned by the Government of India and Government of Gujarat, invites applications from eligible and experienced candidates for the post of Chief General Manager / General Manager (Civil) on Contract / Deputation / Post-superannuation basis, for a minimum period of 3 years, extendable up to 5 years based on performance.

GMRC is entrusted with implementation of the Ahmedabad Metro Rail Project Phase-I & Phase-II, Surat Phase-I and their Operations & Maintenance.

Educational Qualification & Experience

• Qualification: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering from a Govt. recognized University / Institute.
• Experience: In construction works of metro / railways / flyover / RUBs / Bridges / multi-storied buildings.
• CGM Level: Min. 23 years post-qualification experience (private) OR min. 20 years in Government / Indian Railways / PSU / Metro Rail Corporations (at least 17 years in Executive level and min. 4 years in SAG/GM grade – 7th CPC Level 14 or IDA scale 120000-280000).
• GM Level: Min. 20 years post-qualification experience (private) OR min. 17 years in Government / PSU / Metro (at least 14 years in Executive level).
