Government Medical College, Wanaparthy District, Telangana invites applications for 160 posts — Professor (25), Associate Professor (43), Assistant Professor (29), Tutor (30) on contract basis and Senior Resident (33) on honorarium basis, temporary up to 31.03.2027 (Rc.No.1881-1/GMC/WNP/2026).

Educational Qualification
- Professor: MD/MS/DNB per NMC TEQ Regulation, 8 yrs post-PG experience, 4 research publications, Basic course in Medical Education Technology.
- Associate Professor: MD/MS/DNB + 5 yrs post-PG + 2 publications.
- Assistant Professor: MD/MS/DNB, or MSc (relevant) + PhD for Anatomy/Physiology/Biochemistry (up to 15% posts), 1 yr as Senior Resident.
- Senior Resident: MD/MS/DNB/MDS; Tutor: MBBS. Registration with Telangana State Medical Council required.
Age Limit
Assistant Professor below 65 years; Senior Resident and Tutor below 45 years as on 31.03.2026.
Salary / Emoluments
Professor Rs. 1,90,000/-; Associate Professor Rs. 1,50,000/-; Assistant Professor Rs. 1,25,000/-; Senior Resident Rs. 1,06,461/-; Tutor Rs. 55,000/- per month (all inclusive).
Selection Process
Walk-in interview on 12.08.2026 (10 AM-4 PM) at Government Medical College, Wanaparthy; merit based on PG marks with reservation per PO 2018.
