About the Position

GITAM School of Science invites applications for the position of Guest Lecturer to deliver both theory and practical sessions for the Relational and NoSQL Database Management Systems course as part of the M.Sc Data Science program for the 2025-26 admitted batch. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals and academicians who are passionate about teaching, research, and shaping the next generation of data science experts.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct theory lectures covering fundamental and advanced concepts in Relational and NoSQL Database Management Systems.
• Supervise and guide laboratory sessions, ensuring hands-on learning and practical understanding of database technologies.
• Assist in curriculum delivery, course assessments, and academic mentoring of M.Sc Data Science students.
• Collaborate with faculty members to maintain high standards of teaching and learning.

Eligibility & Skills

• Strong academic background in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related fields.
• Expertise in Relational Databases (SQL) and NoSQL Database systems.
• Prior teaching experience at the postgraduate level is preferred but not mandatory.
• Ability to effectively engage students and foster a collaborative learning environment.
