Gujarat Biotechnology University invites applications for Research Associate-I (1 post) and Project Associate-I (1 post) to work on the DBT-funded project "Developing Multi-utility Seaweed Polysaccharide-Based Agri-inputs for Enhanced Crop Productivity and Sustainability". Eligibility
- Research Associate-I: Ph.D./MD/MS/MDS or equivalent degree, or 3 years of research, teaching and design/development experience after MVSc/M.Pharm/ME/M.Tech with at least one research paper in a Science Citation Indexed (SCI) journal.
- Project Associate-I: Master's degree in Natural or Agricultural Sciences, MVSc, or a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Medicine from a recognised university.
- Desirable (RA-I): biopolymer extraction and characterisation, superabsorbent composites/hydrogels, seed coating, biomass processing reactors, bioprocess engineering, publications/patents, scientific writing and lab management.
- Desirable (PA-I): experience in agriculture and horticulture field and pot trials, seedling growth parameters, lab management and administration.
- Age up to 35 years on the closing date, with relaxation as per Government of India instructions.
