Post-wise Eligibility
- Project Manager (HQ 26-27-2001): Master's degree in Agriculture/Horticulture/Ecology/Environmental Studies or a relevant subject from a recognised university or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years of experience; or Ph.D. in Horticulture/Environmental Studies and relevant subjects. Age limit 40 years.
- Research Officer (HQ 26-27-2002): Master's degree in Remote Sensing & GIS / Life Sciences / Agriculture with relevant experience of 3 years. Age limit 40 years.

Desirable Qualifications and Nature of Work
- Project Manager: experience in climate risk assessment, climate-resilient horticulture, adaptation planning, project coordination, stakeholder engagement and multidisciplinary research. Duties include overall project management, coordination, supervision, implementation, monitoring and reporting.
- Research Officer: proficiency in QGIS/ArcGIS or similar tools, GIS/remote sensing, spatial analysis and climate modelling; proficiency in climate modelling, crop vulnerability assessment, climate-risk analysis and field-based data analysis; experience in socio-economic and community-based research with participatory methods, livelihood analysis and stakeholder engagement. Duties include data collection, data analysis, assessments, field coordination and report writing.
- Field Assistant: experience in field surveys and data collection, proficiency in digital survey tools, field monitoring and working with rural/Himalayan communities. Duties include field surveys, data collection, monitoring, stakeholder coordination and other project-related field activities. All the positions are purely field-based.
Selection Process

Walk-in interviews for candidates who have completed the online application form will be held on 02 November 2026 from 10:00 AM onwards at GBPNIHE, Kosi-Katarmal, Almora (Uttarakhand).
