Footwear Design & Development Institute (FDDI), Noida Campus, working under the aegis of Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Govt. of India, invites applications from eligible professionals for the position of Junior Faculty (Leather Garments) in the School of Leather Goods & Accessories Design on an ad-hoc engagement basis (Adv. No. FDDI-ND/(1)/HR/Ad-Hoc/2026-27/02).

Educational Qualification
- Master Degree of minimum 2 years duration after Graduation OR PG Diploma of minimum 2 years duration after graduation in Design / Leather Design / Apparel Design / Garment Manufacturing Technology / Leather Goods & Accessories Design / Leather Garments with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute.
- OR Master''s Degree of minimum 2 years duration OR PG Diploma of minimum 2 years duration after Graduation in any field and Bachelor Degree or Diploma of minimum 3 years duration in the above disciplines with minimum 55% marks from a recognized University / Institute.
Experience
- Minimum 1 year experience in working in Leather Garments Pattern Making & Construction.
- Academic and/or industry experience of at least 3 years in the field of Leather Garments.
- Academic experience, if any, should be of teaching in UG Degree or higher academic courses.
Tenure
Initial tenure of engagement up to 6 months; can be extended up to 6 months at a time by fresh engagement, up to a period decided by the management.
Remuneration
- Junior Faculty: Rs. 50,000 per month; pro-rata payment for part-month engagement presuming a 30-day month.
- Two casual leaves per month with carry-forward within the 6-month engagement period; no earned leave or leave encashment.
- No HRA, House Allocation, LTC or Medical benefits admissible. Temporary house/hostel accommodation may be provided at the discretion of the institute on payment of due charges.
Selection Process
Selection of candidates shall be through interview. Incomplete or improperly formatted applications will not be considered; only shortlisted candidates will be invited.
