Eligibility

• Qualification: Master's Degree (minimum 2 years duration after Graduation) in Retail and Fashion Merchandise / General Management with minimum 55% marks from a recognised university/institute.
• Experience: Minimum 3 years of academic and/or industry experience in retail store operations and the specialised domains outlined in the job description. Academic experience should involve teaching at the undergraduate level or higher in courses related to retail operations & general management subjects.
• Job Description: Teaching experience in subjects - Retail Operations, Site Selection and Mall Management, Store Design, Human Resource Management, Fashion Studies including Product Knowledge in Apparels, IT Applications, Advanced Excel for Business Applications, Accounting for Managers, Managerial Economics, Soft Skills, Visual Merchandising.
• Preference to candidates with both Teaching and Industry experience. SC/ST/OBC/EWS and differently abled candidates can apply. Merit, practical teaching ability, presentation and communication skills given due importance.

Tenure & Terms

• Initial tenure up to 6 months, extendable up to 6 months at a time by fresh engagement, only up to a period decided by management.
• Two casual leaves per month (carry-forward within the 6-month engagement; unavailed leaves lapse). No earned leave/leave encashment.
• No HRA/House Allocation/LTC/Medical; temporary house/hostel may be provided at institute's discretion on payment of charges (vacate within 15 days of discontinuation).
• Working days typically 5 per week (weekend/holiday attendance may be required for operational reasons with comp-off). Weekly attendance via ERP. Periodic performance reviews.
