Principal Judge, Family Court (Kutumb Nyayalaya), Banda (Uttar Pradesh) has invited applications for appointment of 01 Counsellor (परामर्शदाता) for Family Court, Banda. Advertisement dated 04.08.2026, issued in pursuance of Hon'ble High Court letter No. 928/वि.नि./प्र.न्या./नि.नि./वि.वि./07.06.2026 dated 28.02.2026 and Government Order No. 02/07-न्याय-02-205-728 (न्याया अनुभाग-02 अधीनस्थ न्यायालय, बांदा) dated 08.06.2026.

Vacancy Details

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Graduation in Sociology (समाज शास्त्र) or Psychology (मनोविज्ञान) from a UGC-recognized university, along with experience in social service.
• Preference: Candidates holding a Master's degree in Social Work with social service experience and at least 2 years of experience in family counselling will be given preference.
• Age Limit: Between 35 and 65 years as on the date of publication of the advertisement.
• Residency Preference: Preference will be given to original residents of District Banda.

Terms & Conditions

• The tenure of the Counsellor shall be 3 years.
• Appointment is on contract basis with the Court and shall not be treated as appointment to government service.
• After receipt of applications, scrutiny will be done by the State Government; as far as possible, a list of five candidates per post will be prepared.
• On receipt of the eligible list from the State Government, the Hon'ble High Court (Family & Child Development experts) will consider and recommend names to the State Government, which will issue the appointment notification.
• The advertisement and appointment are subject to any order passed in Writ C. No. 0298/2026 pending before the Hon'ble High Court, Allahabad, and the rules made/being made by the State Government.
• The appointed Counsellor shall be paid the honorarium (मानदेय) fixed as per the Government Order.

1. Download/obtain the prescribed application format (as annexed to the notification).
2. Fill the form and attach self-attested copies of educational and experience certificates and other required documents.
3. Submit the application to the Administrative Office, Family Court (Kutumb Nyayalaya), Banda on or before 17.08.2026. Applications received after this date will not be accepted.
