Eligibility
- Retired Central/State Govt employees and retired employees of PSUs/Semi-Govt bodies who held JE (for JE posts) or AE (for AE posts) or superior post at retirement (PWD/PWSU)
- Degree/Diploma in Civil/Electrical Engineering from recognised University/Institution; experience in building construction/maintenance preferred
- Age below 65 years as on commencement; engagement shall not continue beyond 65
- Vigilance clearance, no disciplinary case, not simultaneously engaged elsewhere, Medical Fitness Certificate from Govt. Civil Surgeon before joining
Term & Remuneration
Initial term up to 1 year, extendable by 1 more year subject to satisfactory performance; total not to exceed 2 years and not beyond age 65. Remuneration: Retired PSU/Semi-Govt — JE Rs. 56,000/month; AE Rs. 71,000/month. Retired Central/State Govt — last basic pay minus pension drawn. No HRA/DA; TA as per Pay Level rules; no annual increment; TDS as applicable.
