ESIC Engagement of Retired Junior Engineer on Contract Basis – Puducherry
ESIC Regional Office, Puducherry invites applications from retired engineers for engagement as Junior Engineer on a contract basis for scrutiny of estimates and monitoring execution of various projects including repair and maintenance works (Dated 25.08.2026).

Eligibility
- Only retired officers who served as J.E or above at the time of retirement from Central/State PWD Department / Central or State Public Sector Undertaking are eligible
- Maximum Age: 64 years as on last date of submission of application
Duration & Remuneration
- Contractual appointment for 1 year initially, extendable annually up to 65 years of age based on performance
- Remuneration: Consolidated amount equivalent to last pay drawn minus pension drawn
- Additional TA/DA for official tours
- No HRA, CCA, Transport Allowance, Medical reimbursement payable
- For retired employees from non-pensionable govt/semi-govt employment (autonomous bodies, PSUs): consolidated pay Rs. 33,630/-
- Leave: 1 day per completed month of service, in addition to Government holidays
