- Post Graduate Degree or Diploma in the concerned specialty from a recognised university, registered with the Delhi Medical Council or Medical Council of India
- If PG/Diploma doctors are not available, MBBS doctors without a PG degree with two years of experience, including one year in the concerned specialty from a Government or private hospital (not a private clinic), may be appointed for one year as Senior Resident on contract
- Candidates must attend the walk-in with original documents and self-attested copies

- Senior Resident (Residency Scheme) - 19 posts: Anesthesiology + ICU 2, Dermatology 1, Gynae 1, Pathology 1, Paediatrics + NICU 5, Psychiatry 1, Radiology 2, Surgery 4, Medical Oncology 1, Nephrology 1
- Category-wise: UR 0, EWS 1, OBC 8, SC 6, ST 4
- Tenure: one year, extendable annually up to a maximum of three years, subject to satisfactory performance
- Contractual Specialist and Contractual Super Specialist posts are also advertised in the same notice
- Candidates who have already worked as Senior Resident for three years under the Central Residency Scheme are not eligible
