ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Margao, Goa – Time-Bound Recruitment of Teaching Faculty & Senior Resident (Advertisement No. 01)
ESIC Medical College & Hospital, Margao, Goa-403601 intends to fill up the posts of Teaching Faculty (Professor, Associate Professor, Assistant Professor / Assistant Professor cum Assistant Professor) and Senior Resident on a contract basis for a period of 01 (one) year with further renewal based on prevailing terms and conditions (No. 423-A/12/28/2026 dated 24.08.2026).

Eligibility
- Educational Qualification: MBBS/MD/MS/DNB/PG Diploma/BDS/MDS etc., as per NMC/prevailing norms for each post. NMC has expanded Faculty Eligibility Criteria for wider inclusion – all senior non-teaching/DNB teaching doctors and PG Diploma holders are encouraged to apply.
- Age Limit (as on 31.08.2026): Teaching Faculty 69 years (not exceeding); Senior Resident 44 years. Maximum tenure: till 70 years (teaching faculty), 45 years (Senior Resident) and 50 years (non-clinical).
- Updated Medical Registration (NMC/State Medical Council) with all post-MBBS qualifications required.
- Candidates working in Govt./Autonomous/Statutory institutions should preferably have NOC at interview.
Category-wise Arrangement
- Reservation as per Govt. of India guidelines (UR/EWS/OBC/SC/ST/PWD).
- In case of non-availability of EWS candidates, posts may be filled from other categories provisionally as UR.
- CS (Covering Scheme) candidate can be appointed against any unfilled vacant reserved category post for 44 days with possible extension.
- In case of non-availability of reserved-category candidates, posts may be filled up for less than 45 days as de-reserved.
Application Fee & Security Deposit
- Application Fee: Rs. 500/- (per post) via Demand Draft as Interview Fee, where applicable.
- Security Deposit: Rs. 20,000/- (Twenty Thousand) through Demand Draft in favour of ESI Fund Account No. 2, payable at State Bank of India, Margao.
Key Terms
