Eligibility
- Specialist: PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty + MCI registration (preference to PG qualified). Experience: PG Degree + 3 years’ experience OR PG Diploma + 5 years’ experience in the specialty.
- Senior Resident: PG Degree/Diploma in concerned specialty + MCI registration (preference to PG qualified). If PG holders unavailable in a specialty, candidates with 2 years’ experience after MBBS may be considered.
Age Limit (as on date of interview)
- Specialist: not exceeding 69 years (tenure beyond 70 not allowed).
- Senior Resident: not exceeding 45 years (relaxation for SC/ST/OBC as per rules).
Remuneration
- Full-time Specialist: Rs. 1,37,837/month + TA/DA (for PG Degree holders).
- Part-time Specialist: Rs. 60,000/month for 16 hrs/week (max 4 hrs/day) + Rs. 15,000 emergency-visit charges + Rs. 800 per additional hour (with approval).
- Senior Resident: Rs. 1,37,837/month (Rs. 1,350 deducted for Diploma-only; Rs. 2,250 deducted without Diploma/Degree).

- UR/OBC/EWS: Rs. 500/-.
