ESIC Model and Super Specialty Hospital, Asramam, Kollam, Kerala is conducting a walk-in-interview on 03.09.2026 for contractual engagement of Super Specialist (Full Time/Part Time), Specialist (Full Time/Part Time) and Senior Resident (1 Year), as per Advertisement No. 07/2026.

Interview Details

1. Part/Full Time Super Specialist – 03 Vacancies

Qualification: MCh/DM/DNB or equivalent in concerned super specialty; registered with Medical Council. Age: Not exceeding 69 years as on date of interview (tenure beyond 70 years not allowed).

Remuneration: Full Time: Entry Level Rs. 2,00,000/- p.m.; Senior Level Rs. 2,40,000/- p.m. Part Time: Entry Level Rs. 1,00,000/- p.m.; Consultant (Sr. Level) Rs. 1,50,000/- p.m. (+ visiting charges for emergency).

2. Part/Full Time Specialist – 07 Vacancies

Qualification: Post Graduate Degree/DNB or Diploma in concerned specialty after MBBS/BDS with TCMC/Dental Council registration. For Casualty/ICU: PG Degree/Diploma in Anesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary Medicine/Emergency Medicine. Experience: 3 years (degree holders) or 5 years (diploma holders). Age: Not exceeding 69 years.

Remuneration: Full Time: Rs. 1,38,108/- (Level 11 Junior), Rs. 1,60,752/- (Level 12 Senior). Part Time: Rs. 60,000/- p.m. (+ emergency visiting charges).

3. Senior Residents (Pay Level 11) – 13 Vacancies

Qualification: PG Degree/DNB or Diploma in concerned specialty after MBBS with TCMC registration. For Superspeciality depts: DM/DrNB preferred. For ICU: PG in Anesthesiology/General Medicine/Pulmonary/Emergency/Critical Care. For Casualty: PG in Emergency Medicine preferred; MBBS with 2 years experience considered. Age: Not exceeding 45 years (as per rules).

Remuneration: Approximately Rs. 1,38,108/- per month (Level 11 as per VIIth CPC).

Application Fee

By Demand Draft in favour of Employees' State Insurance Fund – Account No 1 payable at Kollam.

Security Deposit

Rs. 15,000/- as DD in favour of ESIC Account No 2 payable at Kollam at the time of joining (refundable after successful completion of contract).

Terms & Conditions

• Candidates who have already completed 3 years Senior Residency in Central institutions are not eligible for SR post
• No TA/DA for interview
• Private practice not allowed except for part time specialists
• Professional indemnity insurance required for specialists (Rs. 10-30 lakh as per specialty)
• No PF, Pension, Gratuity, Medical Allowance benefits
• In case of non-availability of candidates in the advertised category, posts may be filled for 44 days with UR candidate
