East Central Railway invites applications from serving employees for selection to 07 posts of Instructor (Ex-Cadre Post) at the Zonal Railway Training Institute (ZRTI), Muzaffarpur, in Level-7 (GP 4600/- as per 7th PC).
Eligibility
- Who: Engineering department employees (excluding clerical staff) working in the same Grade Pay/Level 4600 (Level-7), or — if unavailable — in the next lower Grade Pay 4200 (Level-6); regular service of at least 02 years in the grade (MACP/financial-upgradation grades not counted).
- Age: Less than 58 years on the date of notification (RBE 104/2023).
- Bar: Employees already working as training-centre instructors may apply only after 01 year of leaving such a centre.
Selection Process
Computer Based Test (75 marks, objective) + Classroom Lecture Trial (25 marks) — total 100 marks, qualifying 60%; negative marking 1/3 per RBE 194/2019. Lien maintained in the parent department/division/railway.
Terms
- Posting: ZRTI/MFP on tenure basis up to a maximum of 05 years (RBE 104/2023); repatriable to the parent unit anytime on unsatisfactory work.
- Fee: No application fee prescribed in the notice.
