Ex-Servicemen Contributory Health Scheme (ECHS), Station HQ (ECHS Cell) Jammu, under the Ministry of Defence, invites offline applications from eligible candidates for 27 contractual vacancies across 15 posts (Medical, Para-Medical & Non-Medical) at ECHS Polyclinic Jammu.

Important Dates
- Last Date for Receipt of Application: 11 August 2026 (1100 hrs)
- Interview Dates: 20, 21 & 22 August 2026 (reporting 0845-1400 hrs at Station HQ Jammu)
Engagement & Remuneration
Contractual engagement up to 31 March 2027, renewable for an additional period of one year / till attaining maximum age, subject to satisfactory performance and continued requirement. Fixed consolidated monthly remuneration as per the table above. Preference will be given to Ex-Servicemen.

Selection Process
Scrutiny of applications, document verification and personal interview (no written examination). Selected candidates must undergo 10 days of On-the-Job Training (OJT) before signing the contract.
How to Apply
- Download the prescribed application format from www.echs.gov.in
- Fill in all details and attach self-attested copies of required certificates/documents
- Submit the application in duplicate in a sealed envelope in the Tender Box at ECHS Polyclinic Jammu gate
- Ensure it reaches before 11 August 2026 (1100 hrs) - applications received after this date and time will not be accepted
Interview
Candidates must reach Station HQ Jammu at 0830 hrs on their scheduled date (20/21/22 August 2026; reporting 0845-1400 hrs) with all original certificates (10th/Matric, 10+2, Graduation/Post-Graduation/Diploma, work experience certificates, discharge book, PPO) and two passport-size colour photographs. No TA/DA is admissible for attending the interview.
