Centre for Tribal Studies (CTS), Department of Anthropology, University of Delhi, invites applications for engagement on a purely temporary and contractual basis for a period of six (06) months, extendable based on performance, under the research project "Impact of PESA in Strengthening Self-Governance of Panchayats in Fifth Schedule Areas" funded by the Ministry of Panchayati Raj, Government of India.

Roles & Responsibilities

Research Associate: Assist the Director and Joint Director in project implementation, coordinate field surveys and research activities, data compilation/analysis/interpretation, preparation of project reports/policy briefs/publications, liaison with project stakeholders and government agencies.

Research Assistant: Assist in literature review and preparation of research tools, conduct field surveys and interviews, data entry/coding/documentation, support report writing and dissemination activities, perform any other project-related work assigned by the Principal Investigator.

Field Investigator: Conduct field visits and collect primary data through surveys, interviews and observations, maintain accurate field records and documentation, assist in data entry/verification/preliminary analysis, coordinate with research team and submit field reports within prescribed timelines.
