Department of Education (CIE), University of Delhi, Delhi-110007, invites applications from Indian citizens for temporary positions in the Indian Council of Social Science Research (ICSSR) funded Major Research Project (2025-26) entitled “Life Skill Education in under the Framework of National Education Policy, 2020: A Study of School Adolescents in India”. Advertisement Ref. No. 199 dated 13.10.2026. The positions are purely temporary in nature and co-terminus with the project.

Research Assistant (01 post)
- Tenure – Initially five months, extendable up to the project tenure based on performance/availability of the research grant.

- Essential qualification – Postgraduate in any relevant Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates with NET/M.Phil./Ph.D.
- Desirable – Prior experience of data collection, analysis and research report writing.
Field Investigator (02 posts)
- Tenure – Initially five months, extendable up to the project tenure based on performance/availability of the research grant.
- Job description – Field visits to collect data and surveys in selected states.
- Essential qualification – Graduate in any relevant Social Science discipline with a minimum of 55% marks. Preference will be given to candidates with a four-year graduation programme.
- Desirable – Prior experience of field visits, surveys, data collection and analysis.
