Eligibility Criteria
- Educational Qualification: Matriculation pass or equivalent from a recognized board.
- Age Limit: 18 to 27 years as on 01.06.2026 (born between 02.06.1999 and 01.06.2008).
- Age Relaxation: SC/ST – 5 years; OBC – 3 years; PwBD+UR/EWS – 10 years; PwBD+SC/ST – 15 years; PwBD+OBC – 13 years; Ex-Servicemen – military service + 3 years (max 55 years).
- Citizenship: Indian citizen.
DSSSB Sweeper / Chowkidar 2026 – Exam Scheme & Selection Procedure
Stage 1 – Objective/MCQ Test (100 Marks): 25 questions of English (25 marks), 25 Hindi (25 marks), 25 General Knowledge including Current Affairs (25 marks), and 25 Arithmetic (25 marks). Duration 120 minutes (160 minutes for PwD). Negative marking of 0.25 marks per wrong answer.
Minimum Qualifying Marks: UR/EWS – 50%; OBC (Delhi)/SC/ST/PwBD/ESM – 45%.
Stage 2 – Interview (15 Marks): Candidates up to a maximum of 10 times the total vacancies will be called for interview conducted by the Office of Ld. Principal District & Sessions Judge (HQs). No minimum qualifying marks in interview.
Final Merit: Based on combined marks of MCQ examination and interview, prepared by the District and Sessions Courts, Tis Hazari, Delhi. In case of equal marks, the senior-in-age candidate is placed higher.
